Custom Request Info
Here at Turningz by TanZ I am happy to work with you to create a custom design. There are a few basic items I would like to cover before you fill out the custom request form so everyone has clear expectations. Please take a few minutes to review the current terms.
What to expect about the process:
- Please start here and review the items on this page.
- After you have reviewed this page please feel free to fill out the custom request inquiry form link to the button at the bottom of this page.
- Once the form is submitted you will receive a confirmation email sharing that your form has been submitted.
- I will contact you to discuss the project in the order the request is received. Until you have been contacted by me your project has not been started.
- I will be transparent with expected turn around time but a general rule of thumb is 2-4 weeks once the project is started. There are multiple things that determine the time needed to complete a custom request (e.g. stabilizing of wood, sources of specific items needed to complete the project, etc.)
- Once we have agreed on a design you may be asked to pay a deposit for the custom project. This is at my own discretion and could be up to 50% of the total project cost depending on the scope of the project.
- If a deposit is determined necessary I will contact you on how to pay the deposit.
- All deposits should be considered as non refundable but please keep in mind that I will work with you to the best of my abilities to finish the project to the best of your expectation.
- All custom requests are at my own discretion. It is possible that I may not be able to create what you are looking for or may not be willing to take on a specific project. Should this happen I know where to send you if need be to get the job done with another artisan.
- Knots are not required when ordering a custom but will be offered if you are looking for a completed shave brush.
- I will update these terms as I see fit as this service is a fluid ongoing offering.
